Paolo Baglietto
Paolo Baglietto is an experienced dentist and an NVOI-recognised implantologist, with a strong focus on aesthetics and advanced treatment techniques. He combines international training with many years of clinical practice, specialising in implantology, soft tissue procedures and high-quality restorative dentistry.
Education and clinical experience
Paolo Baglietto graduated cum laude as a dentist from the University of Genoa, Italy in 1996. He has been practising in the Netherlands since 1998. Alongside general dentistry, he spent 20 years practising orthodontics for both children and adults. Since 2005 he has focused on implantology, completing numerous international courses. Over the last five years he has further refined his implant work by specialising in modern techniques for Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR). By applying this knowledge daily and pursuing ever-better outcomes, he has developed extensive experience in bone and soft tissue augmentation.
Aesthetic and innovative treatments
Maintaining close ties with his native Italy, in 2015 he became involved with Plexr Soft Surgery. He was the first dentist in the Netherlands to perform a range of procedures both outside the mouth, such as facial aesthetic treatments, and inside the mouth, including various gum corrections. These range from pre-prosthetic crown lengthening to gummy smile correction, and from frenulectomy to implant surgery.
Restorative dentistry and collaboration
His interest in the cosmetic side of dentistry is reflected in his work on veneers and highly natural crowns and restorations, supported by close collaboration with a talented dental technician. With great enthusiasm, and in his ongoing pursuit of optimal dental care, he will start a unique collaboration in 2026 with colleague Dovilė van der Sterren.
