Information for referrers

At Dovident we welcome collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals. We provide professional dental care with a personal approach and take time for every patient. By communicating clearly and coordinating treatment carefully, we ensure smooth cooperation and a thorough handover.

Referrals for Invisalign

We regularly treat patients with Invisalign, using both the Go and Go Plus programmes. Patients are supported by us from the initial consultation to the final result, with attention to aesthetics, function and clear communication.

You can confidently refer patients with an aesthetic concern or an orthodontic indication to us. If desired, we will keep you informed of progress or contact you after completion for any return referral.

Referrals for CBCT scan and diagnosis

Within our practice we have a modern NewTom VG-One CBCT-scanner for high-quality 3D imaging. Referrers may have their patients scanned with us for diagnostics of, among other things, root problems, jaw joints, implantology or complex anatomy.

We perform the scan only on referral and will send the images, and a report if requested, back to the referrer. In this case the patient is seen solely for imaging and will not be treated further without consultation.

Referrals for other treatments

For specific treatments such as implants, facings, aesthetic composite therapy, restoration of wear or treatment of tooth damage you may also refer patients to us. We work with attention to detail and tailor our care to the expectations of both patient and referrer.

For complex cases we can advise on a treatment plan or return the patient to the referrer after completion of part of the treatment, in consultation.

Procedure and communication

For every referral we take the time to explain to the patient, provide a clear treatment plan and discuss possible alternatives. The patient is always central, but we explicitly consider the role of the referrer. If desired, we provide a written report after completion of treatment. For consultation or quick coordination we are available by email or telephone. Together we ensure smooth cooperation and continuity of care.
