At Dovident Dental Practice we use modern dental equipment that combines comfort, precision and safety. For our patients and referrers it is important to know we invest in technology that allows accurate diagnosis and efficient treatment. Below is an overview of the main systems we use in the practice.
DKL treatment chairs and mobile carts
Our treatment rooms are fitted with chairs and mobile carts from the German manufacturer DKL CHAIRS. These are designed with attention to ergonomics, hygiene and durability. The chairs are comfortable and fully adjustable, allowing the team to work in the correct posture. The mobile carts make treatment more efficient by reducing unnecessary movement and waiting. This combines patient comfort with a calm, professional working environment.
NewTom VG-One 2D & 3D CBCT scanner
For X-rays and three-dimensional imaging we use the NewTom VG-One. This scanner produces both panoramic 2D images and 3D scans using CBCT technology (cone beam computed tomography). It allows detailed visualisation of the teeth, jawbone and surrounding structures. The radiation dose is low while image quality is exceptionally high. This makes the scanner indispensable for planning implants, root canal treatments and other complex procedures. For you as a patient this means we can work faster, more precisely and with greater insight.
NewTom RXDC intra-oral X-ray unit
In the treatment rooms we use the NewTom RXDC X-ray unit for small, highly detailed intra-oral images. This system is engineered to deliver sharp images with a minimal radiation dose. Images are processed digitally and immediately available, so we can assess findings during your appointment. This makes examination quicker and more comfortable, while enabling a more confident diagnosis.
iTero Lumina 3D scanner
With the iTero Lumina we take digital impressions of your teeth. Instead of a traditional impression tray and material, a small scanner captures an accurate 3D model in a few minutes. This is more comfortable for the patient and provides a digital impression that can be used directly to make crowns, bridges or Invisalign aligners. The high precision helps dental laboratory work fit better and makes treatment outcomes more predictable.
Labomed Prima DNT operating microscope
For procedures that require extreme precision, such as root canal treatments or aesthetic restorations, we use the Labomed Prima DNT operating microscope. This microscope provides strong magnification of the treatment area so even the smallest structures can be seen clearly. That allows us to work more precisely, preserve tissue and reduce the risk of complications. For you, this often leads to a better result and a more comfortable treatment.
Dürr Dental VistaScan
For processing intra-oral X-ray images we use the VistaScan Mini View 2.0 from Dürr Dental. This scanner converts captured images into high-resolution digital files in seconds. The dentist can view and discuss the results almost immediately. That shortens appointment time and improves diagnostic accuracy, contributing to efficient and reliable care.
Melag MELAtherm 20 washer-disinfector
We use the MELAtherm 20 by Melag to clean and disinfect our instruments. This washer-disinfector cleans, disinfects, and dries instruments in a fully automated process that meets the highest hygiene standards. Each cycle is recorded digitally, giving us full traceability of the cleaning process. For patients, this means optimal safety: every instrument is demonstrably clean, disinfected, and ready for reuse without any risk of cross-contamination.
B-Autoclaaf Premium autoclave
After cleaning, all instruments are sterilised in a B-Autoclaaf Premium autoclave. This device uses steam under high pressure and temperature to completely destroy microorganisms. The autoclave automatically monitors every sterilisation cycle and records the results digitally. This allows us to meet the strictest standards for infection prevention. For you as a patient, this means the assurance that every instrument used in the practice is fully sterile and safe.
