Bridges
A bridge is a fixed replacement for one or more missing teeth. At Dovident we offer bridge solutions that are both functionally strong and naturally aesthetic, so you can confidently chew and smile again.
When is a bridge suitable?
A bridge is a suitable solution when one or more teeth are missing and the neighbouring teeth are strong enough to serve as abutments. It prevents adjacent teeth from shifting and restores the chewing function and appearance of your teeth.
How a bridge is constructed
A bridge consists of two or more crowns placed on supporting teeth, with one or more pontics between them that replace the missing teeth. The bridge is crafted as a single unit and fixed in place so it feels like your own teeth.
Types of bridge constructions
Depending on the situation we choose the appropriate construction. This can be a traditional bridge, a resin-bonded bridge (for younger patients or lighter loads), or a bridge on implants. Full-arch bridges on multiple implants are also possible in cases of extensive tooth loss.
Materials and aesthetics
As with crowns, we mainly use ceramic materials for their durability and natural appearance. The bridge is matched in shape and colour to your existing teeth, aiming for a harmonious and functional result.
Frequently asked questions

How long does a bridge last?
