Emergency & accessibility
If you have an acute problem you want help quickly. We understand how distressing toothache or an unexpected issue can be and do everything we can to assist as soon as possible. On this page you will find guidance for emergencies, information about where to go outside our opening hours and which situations require immediate treatment.
Emergency during opening hours
For acute complaints it is best to call us immediately. Examples include severe toothache, a broken tooth, a dislodged filling or bleeding after treatment. We always try to see you the same day where possible, so pain can be relieved quickly and further damage prevented. Please state clearly when calling that this is an emergency so we can prioritise your appointment.
Emergency outside opening hours
For emergencies outside our opening hours we cooperate with the Tandartsspoedpraktijk Den Haag. You can reach them via 0900-8602. This service is intended for situations that cannot wait until the next working day, such as severe pain, swelling or trauma where a tooth has been damaged.
What counts as an emergency?
Emergency care is required for severe pain, a swollen cheek due to infection, persistent bleeding after a procedure, dental trauma or a loose tooth following a fall or accident. If you are unsure, please call us; together we will assess whether immediate action is needed.
Practice accessibility
Our practice is reachable by phone on weekdays between 08:30 and 17:00. Outside these hours you can contact the emergency dental service for urgent cases. For non-urgent questions you can email us; we will respond as soon as possible.
